For a mere 30 years the multiverse has been known to us with a mysterious number of planes. More and more are discovered each year. Of these planes the most humble and tranquil has been revealed … Bloomburrow.  This gentle landscape of rolling hills, crystal rivers and ancient forests has avoided the gaze of humanity’s industrious eyes and the clutch of the Phyrexian grasp, only by sheer luck …  or might of its inhabitants.  

The Bloomburrow forests are home to many a cute critter, radiant plumed foul and threatening predators; each with their own talents. There is one who lives deep in the winding branches where sunlight dare not encroach. 

 He is Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. 

Lumra, Bellow of the Woods is a rare specimen of the ancient power of Bloomburrow, from a dark and bygone age where bears roamed and ruled. It is said to gaze into his glowing emerald eyes is to see the history of Bloomburrow and then become part of it…Not many survive to tell the tale.  

Lumra patrols the reaching trees as if by habit and not by purpose. His faded coat seems to merge with his surroundings; time has blended him with his charge. He moves with not a broken branch or rustle of leaves, paws larger than the wishing well, exposed claws as jagged onyx capable of tearing through the toughest plate and mail.  His teeth can be seen by the ever so often glimmer of sunlight through the stretching canopy above. Many have rumoured that the legendary Cragflame was forged from a shard.  

The pain of his past can be heard leagues away in deep solemn grumbles; the earth tremors, fauna and flora quake.  

He is feared and respected among the common folk of Bloomburrow, yet he is sought out for the wisdom of an age, for he has lived.  

He is lord of the forest and protector of the land.
