A large creature, one of the largest in the valley, Hugs’s look was something that spoke for him as the quietest member of the party. His striking black and white striped coat, mixed with the various scars across his face and arms as well as the intimidating armour that he wears, meant that his imposing presence often spoke for him. One could say that his quiet nature was made up for by his adventuring companion, the talkative lizard Gev, another member of the adventuring group “The Striped Rapscallions. The Lizard Gev often did the duos communicating for them, telling stories of the adventures with their previous partner KiKi the Skunk.

One could say that Hugs’ appearance ran contrary to his nature. His large claws and intimidatingly scarred face did not give any indication of the personality that was described by Mabel as “retired”. As although he was the largest and strongest member of the party, his willingness to allow the children of Goodhill to use his large body as a playground betrays the guardian’s true kindness in his heart. His name might seem ironic, Hugs, and it certainly would be to any enemies that may cross his path. But to those who called him a friend, he was only a guardian.
