Deep throughout the multiverse, through planes of untold carnage, and countless struggles of power, we find ourselves on the plane of Bloomburrow. A tranquil plane, who, by a stroke of good fortune, seems to have avoided the gleaming eyes of the great elder dragon, and the more recent phyrexian scurge.
Here, on Bloomburrow, with its massive forest and tranquil fields, there are tales of epic heroes, fearsome calamity beasts, and great empires that rise and fall, but today, we’ll be taking a look at the more simple side of this magnificent plane.
And it is here, we find one of Bloomburrow’s more productive characters – Baylen, the Haymaker.
Baylen hails from the tiny Village of haymeadow, where they tend to fields, growing and harvesting wheat. Working tirelessly, Baylen can be found working from dusk to dawn, ensuring no one in the village goes hungry, especially in Bloomburrow’s harsh winters.
Although small in stature, Baylen is no mere farmer. With scythe in hand, Baylen is always ready to fiercely protect Haymeadow from wolves, ravenous bandits, and even the occasional calamity beast.
This simply shows that no matter what adversities you may face, it’s not the size of your weapon, or weight of your armor that counts, but the size of your heart, and the resolve to protect those who can’t protect themselves.
